WOS Observer
WOS Observer organizes community-contributed Whiteout Survival leaderboard observations to help players understand states, events, and different ways of playing.
There is no single right way to play.
Every player finds their own way to have fun. Focusing on personal progress can bring faster account growth, while state-focused players may prefer to save resources and use them when they benefit the whole state. Both approaches are valid, but mixing different expectations in one state can create frustration.
WOS Observer aims to make those play styles easier to understand. The goal is to help personal-focused and state-focused players find communities whose expectations match the way they enjoy playing—so each group can thrive without judging the other.
WOS Observer
Data appears only when someone in the community captures and contributes it. If nobody submits data for a state, alliance, player, or event, it will not appear here. A state can also gain partial event coverage when it faces a state whose contributor captured a shared cross-state leaderboard.
Event scores usually come from a specific moment during an event. A displayed score is therefore a 既知のスコア下限: the player had at least that many points when the leaderboard was observed. Their final score may be higher, but it cannot be lower than that valid observation.
Leaderboards show only a limited number of positions. Players outside the visible ranks at capture time may be missing even when they participated.
An estimate of where observed event points were used
The site converts each eligible observed stage score into an SvS-equivalent value, then adds the known stage values:
対象ステージスコア × ステージ倍率 = 既知のステージ値
- プラス values represent points observed in state-focused events such as SvS Preparation.
- マイナス values estimate the SvS opportunity cost of points above the configured minimum in selected personal events.
- 中立 events do not affect the value.
Multipliers make scores from different event types roughly comparable. The result is an approximation of resource timing, not a complete measure of skill, contribution, or the value of a player.
FAQ
Why is my score on the site lower than my score in the game?
The contributed leaderboard may have been captured before the event ended. The site shows the highest score it has observed, so think of it as a known minimum rather than your final total.
Why is my character, state, or alliance missing?
We may not have a contributor gathering data for your state, and your state may not have appeared in a covered cross-state event. Nothing is created automatically: if the community has not contributed an observation, there is no data to display.
Why does my character have no power value?
No contributor has submitted a usable power observation for that character yet. This commonly means the state does not currently have an active data contributor.
Why do I not appear in an event?
You may not have been inside the visible leaderboard positions when the data was captured, or you may have scored after the latest observation. The site cannot see participants outside a captured leaderboard.
How do I become a data contributor?
Open the contributor hub to send screenshots, link a character, download the overlay, or learn about state submitter and curator access. Every permission is granted explicitly and scoped to the approved state.
Can I contribute an SvS result without Discord?
Yes. Open the relevant SvS season and choose Send anonymous screenshot. The image is normalized and stored privately, server OCR verifies the visible structure and score sums, and you confirm the immutable result. Anonymous evidence is the lowest trust and cannot replace trusted results.
What are the benefits of signing up?
A signed-in user can link one or more game characters, choose a primary character, and request contributor access. Linking main and farm characters also helps build a more accurate account-level picture of state-focused activity.
Why can two pages show different-looking totals?
Observations can come from different capture times and leaderboard scopes. Always check event dates and freshness information, and remember that every displayed total is approximate.
Can incorrect or stale data be corrected?
Yes. Send a newer observation or contact the project owner with the player, state, event, and the value that looks wrong. New evidence is preserved as another observation rather than silently rewriting history.
